Who is Jaxon?

Greg Jackson (Jaxon) is a Software Engineer who lives in Tigard, Oregon. Although he does not consider himself a "gun nut", he does appreciate the joy of the shooting sports and the rights of gun ownership and lawful carry. Jaxon spends his free time with his wife and 3 boys, fishing, hiking, backpacking, shooting and doing nature and sports photography.

What is the purpose of this site?

This website is dedicated, not only to gun ownership and shooting, but to everything outdoors. The hope is to provide information on recreational opportunities in and around Oregon and to provide information on products that have proven to be great values and must haves for the outdoor recreationalist.

Although the intent of this site is not really to discuss technical topics, Jaxon is a Software Engineer and reserves the right to talk nerd stuff as deemed appropriate.
